RED OAK:
ORIGIN: it grows in North America and Canada.
PROPERTIES: light brown or yellowish tint is characteristic for mature red oak wood. It is strong, long-lived and resistant to the external influences. It becomes dark with the time. Red oak is polished well but mechanical processing needs special efforts.
USE: red oak wood is used in the shipbuilding and mining industry and for the production of furniture, veneer, parquet, barrels and wooden decorative boxes.
